Bringing on all the local Texas' racers has been a blast. They are all down to earth, love to talk Moto and are genuinely good people. But the majority of these guys are healthy, training or have to drive long distances. So they cannot partake in too many adult beverages. I knew I needed to find someone special to fill the bill when it comes to enjoying some brews and letting the random talk fly. In comes Cecil Parker, this guy does it all. He races in the +30 A class, supports his wife in the classes she races in and he always enjoys a Pint Full of Awesome. This was an epic time with the Junkman and we're glad that he and Jessica came down to enjoy an evening on the couch with us.
Anaheim II started the 2012 record books with the first 450 racer to win two races this season. This race also showed us just how dominant Eli Tomac is becoming in the Lites class. The tracks aren't living up to much, but the racing is still intense. Sometimes you have to go back a few spots, but awesome can happen anywhere.
Cole Kirkpatrick rode his KTM 300XC to a commanding first place finish over the Pro field at Round 6 of TORO this past weekend in Poolville. Caleb Ramsay was second, which was a great finish after his tumble on the start. Cameron Ishmael finished third; riding a blown rear shock through some very technical terrain. Poolville was a great technical track and we look forward to it being on more schedules this year.
The King of the Motos happened on Thursday (Graham Jarvis won), the NHHA is this weekend along with the LACC and TORN season openers. Lots of racing is to be had if you're in the mood.
Make sure you check out our interview with Kurt Caselli on his 2012 year and how he plans to define the word awesome. Always enjoy a Pint Full of Awesome and please support our supporters.
